The Format dropdown of a project (and the Format field of a Media item) decides what the gallery item is and what opens in the lightbox.

Formats are WordPress post formats. Your theme may or may not display the video or audio on the single project page; the plugin only uses them in galleries and the lightbox. See “Show the video on the single page” below.

- Set the Format to Video.
- Paste the link into Video URL.

A Pro local video chosen in Custom Media (Normal) is different: it plays inside the grid item. Video URL only affects the lightbox.

- Set the Format to Audio.
- Paste the link into Audio URL.
Supported: Spotify, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Beatport, and self-hosted mp3, ogg, wav, m4a, flac, aac, wma, alac, aiff, aif, opus, webm files. The lightbox shows the featured image with the player under it.
Gallery (Pro)

- Set the Format to Gallery.
- In Album Images, pick the images.
The item shows the featured image with a stacked-images icon; clicking it opens every album image in the lightbox. With Display Images Count on in the skin, the item shows “12 Images”. Without Album Images the images attached to the project are used, up to 50.
Media items
The same formats exist on images of the Media content source: open an image’s settings in the block and choose the Format; the Video URL, Audio URL and Album Images fields appear there. See Content Source → Media.
Show the video on the single page
Themes decide what a single project shows. To embed the project’s video in your theme template:
