The caption rises from the bottom of the image on hover, with a slanted top edge (Skew Size). The image lifts by 10 px. An overlay tint (black at 20% by default) covers the image while the caption is shown. If the item has no title or meta, an empty caption panel still rises.

Notes
- The overlay has no text and no icon of its own; everything textual is in the caption.
- Caption Display: Always keeps the caption open, which turns Emerge into a “caption over the bottom of the image” skin without hover.
