# Download Failed: Unauthorized

## Symptom

Updating Visual Portfolio Pro fails with **Download failed. Unauthorized**.

## Cause

Either the license has expired, or the site’s URL is not registered on the license. The second case is common after a gallery was built on a staging URL and the site later moved to its live domain.

## Fix

1. If the license has expired, renew it.
2. If it is current, open your Lemon Squeezy order page, click the license key and add this site’s URL. Remove the URL you no longer use.
3. Run the update again.

For a license bought before May 2025, the sites are managed in your nkdev.info account, under License Keys → Manage Sites.
